Hello,
I am due to move to Australia in September 2024. I have had the same mobile number my entire life and do not want to lose this.
I currently have a rolling sim PAYG (contract is fully paid off) so I have no ties to paying anything back. Is there a way possible to keep my UK mobile number for things such as 2FA and UK banking apps, as well as having an Aus number? I have been reading online about dual sims, but finding varying information.
Any help is appreciated!

You will need either a dual SIM phone or two separate phones, one for the UK number and one for Aus.
All PAYG SIM cards require either a minimum top up every so often or requre you to make a call every six months.
Might be worth looking around at what is available

This question suits me to a T. I've just moved to Australia on The Sunshine Coast and I too want to keep my number. Did you decide what you want to do?

If you are asking @Australia2024, it needs a tag thus.
However, that is the only post by @Australia2024 and they have not logged into this forum since 27 March 2024. Hence, please don't hold your breath awaiting a reply. 😀
