Since upgrading to a fibre broadband package, my phone will not maintain a wireless connection with the new router. This was never previously an issue. How do I tell if this is an issue with the router or a problem with my phone. My computer is hardwired to the router with an ethernet cable so the only wireless device I have is my phone.

Try forgetting the connection, reboot your phone and then connect again @Mattsta
You could also try rebooting the router itself to see if that's causing it.
