Merging Calls

Why can't I merge calls on my Galaxy S20 Ultra using Android 10 on a Pay Monthly Account?

Thank you. I only wanted to add my 2 children to a call during this lockdown situation not a large conference call. I think I may have to contact O2 when the situation improves as at the moment, I suspect this is not an 'emergency' problem!

Yes you can merge up to 3 people but O2 need to activate it for you.

Hi again, I managed to get through to O2 but was told that any merged calls will cost 15p per minute & if I activated the service by dialling 323 or 322 I'd be charged. I explained I am a private account holder but he said it makes no difference, all merged calls are not within my tariff 😞😞😞
