Incoming calls - no caller ID

Since Thursday all of my incoming calls are coming through as ‘No Caller ID’. This includes all of my saved contacts. I’ve checked all of my phone settings, completed a network reset, installed the latest iOS,

called O2 twice (they just googled it and offered no solutions!), been to a store and done a SIM swap. When another SIM,

with another account and number, is placed into my phone it works fine! It seems to be baffling everyone. Anyone have any ideas??….

It seems my diagnosis of "fixed" was premature.

I do not have Caller ID for mobiles.  And I have only been able to test it on one landline, as I only have one landline.

So I get caller ID for ONE number only.
It is very frustrating.

I have recently got the problem on my O2 plan. So to solve this you will have to ask the o2 customer service to switch off the CLI ( caller Line Identity) and then switch back on from your profile. 
This is a rare case for most of the customers but it is an O2 profile issue.

Good tip, @mtbkun - did you contact O2 customer service using 202 or 4445, or did you use Social Media to get this help?  Thanks!

I called 202 and tell them it's a technical issue. This is the fastest way to get through the annoying phone options. 

They will do a hard network rest on your phone as well to just confirm the changes has gone though. 

 

It wasn't the best experience with O2 because this took 6 days and 13 different technicians ( both from Apple technician and O2 technicians)
