I had my ipad stolen while on holiday so reported it to 02 and ordered a new one which arrived the following day, then the same day my phone stopped working saying "sim not activated on network". I phoned 02 who sent a new sim for both my phone and the new ipad. The sim has not worked in the ipad since I received it 4 days ago despite repeated phone calls to 02. Everytime they remove the block it is automatically applied again. My phone sim card did work until today when I started receiving the sim not registered on network error. I've spent hours on the phone to 02 with no progress. I decided to check the IMEI number online which says that my phone has been blacklisted. Spoke to 02 again the first agent saying that the device was blacklisted because it was reported lost and the second saying that it wasn't blacklisted and saying I have to wait 3-5 days to hear back from the networking agent. Wish virgin and 02 had never merged have never had a issue with virgin.

@Scholey

Persevere with O2 and you will get someone who can sort it out eventually.

You need to contact O2.
Message them on Social Media. Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) or give them a call on 202 or 0344 809 0202

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
