In the last two weeks I have noticed unsolicited calls from 'Armenia'. I reject these calls and block them but the number constantly changes. eg:
+374 44 761481
+374 44 604545
+374 44 802394
+374 44 552806
I noticed on my upcoming bill that there is a charge to one of these numbers of £13.21? How do I stop these people.
Regards
Mike

@mentalextra Not a lot you can do except to not answer the call and block the number. You should not be charged for any of those calls. You'll need to speak to customer service to request a refund.

Thanks folks, let me ask a few questions to our teams and we'll see what we can do. I wish these people would bugger off tho! 😠

@mentalextra any chance could you private message me your phone number? We want to run some checks in the background to help us understand what this scam is.
Thanks,

Thanks for sending me across your details @mentalextra - we're investigating options to see if we can block the whole range of numbers.
@MI5 sadly in answer to your query from the other thread, we've seen cases that this now appears to be possible from merely answering a call 😠.
Thanks,

Thanks, I appreciate your help. Obviously I get a regular stream of 'dodgy' calls, even today I received 0331 6303354 which appears to be a housing repair nuisance call. Recently they just seem to be getting worse! It's tough when you have family members seriously ill and hospitals/doctors tend to call on 'unknown numbers' so you have no choice but to answer.
But, again, thanks
