I tried to post a genuine question about a problem I am having with signal strength on an iPhone 16. It has been deleted as spam and now it looks like I cannot login to this community. So much for technical support!!

Hello

I have owned various iPhones for the past, I don't know, at least 7 years. I do live in the village in Scotland that does not have great mobile phone signal.

However, with my iPhone 13 (and previous models), I could make calls and receive standard texts, most of the time without a problem in my house, despite it not being an extremely strong signal.

The last 6 months with this iPhone 16+ have been horrendous. Most of the time I have no signal in my house, the other day I had to go outside just to receive a text, I never had to do that with previous phones.

Unfortunately, I traded in my last iPhone, so I cannot test it with that.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

@Wheels496

You can call and text with wifi calling on O2 if on contract https://www.o2.co.uk/help/international-and-network/wifi/wifi-and-4g-calling

WhatsApp is also an option over wifi to other WhatsApp users.
