Are you aware of the Google search captcha has been appearing on your mobile network for the past 3 days when trying to perform Google searches? Says:
“Our systems have detected unusual traffic from your computer network”
You can complete the captcha and it continues to work, but you are repeatedly asked throughout the day.
Connecting to WiFi - not on the O2 network - Google captcha disappears immediately?

Tends to happen when many queries hit the same "bit" of Google in a short time - such as all users in a mast location being routed to the same Google server, @Sharpy666, 4th bullet below:

Yes, when I am researching something, I often make lots of very tailored Google searches - I will inevitably get the captcha perhaps one search in 8 or so.
Could also be something Google is tweaking on their side... Fact of life, I guess, @Sharpy666.
