Hi All,

Can someone from o2 help with this problem. The wife bought a new phone on contract and got the pac code from EE and setting up porting her old number across from EE . This was supposed to take place on the Friday 12th August . The EE SIM went dead during the day and the O2 SIM never received the old number. O2 were rung on  Monday , Wednesday Thursday Friday , Saturday and again Monday 22nd and each and every day the problem as been escalated and we are still in the same position from the 12th and stuck with a number she doesn't want. She as asked for call back from managers about the problem and received no calls and is getting to her wits end with O2 and there lack of ability to port her old number.

Can anyone advise what other steps we can take

Thanks

Check the correct number is showing in settings

Settings>>Phone>>my number

If not, insert correct number, save and reboot phone

Hi, it's showing both numbers switching between the temp number which is attached to (Siri found in settings)  and her old number (Siri found in mail). Do we need to unattach siri found in settings. I have just found out other iPhone users see her under old number and Android users can only contact on temp number.

The wife is worried that if we unattach she loses everything , so wanted to double check before doing it.

Unfortunately it's now asking for a verification code which we can't get to as it's her old number it wants to send it to

@Matt79

Cancel that and do a network settings reset first.

Then check what number is in Settings >Phone >My Number again.

This should now be the original number that you ae keeping and have ported in.
