Ok! Still having issues since I changed my Apple Watch 7 to an Ultra. Not getting a data, which keeps dropping out? Does anyone know much about EID numbers and should your EID number of your data plan be the same as what is shown on your Apple Watch? I think this could be the problem but this level of knowledge is way above even me. Any help would be welcome. Basically my data plan EID is not the same as what is on the watch

@DH4

The EID which stands for “Embedded Identity Document” is a serial number corresponding to the eSIM installed in a connected device (smartphone, tablet, laptop, etc.). This serial number is unique for each eSIM.

To use a mobile network, a phone needs an IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) number. To use an eSIM, a phone also needs an EID (Embedded Identity Document) number.
