Data worked in Seville but not Malaga

Hi,

travelling around Spain for 10 days and the last 2 days I’ve been in Seville with no data issues as soon as I got off the plane. Today I travelled to Malaga and suddenly it says full bars but ‘E’ only so won’t connect to date. Have tried switching airplane mode off/on, phone off/on, changing network, setting network selection to auto and onto manual and going through all networks - nothing working. 
Please help?

Try setting your phone network down from 5G to 4G or even 3G, then manually searching for a network before switching back up to 4G, @Jodieanne27 - and rural Malaga may be a bit sparse signal-wise.
