I tried to contact O2 via message and have been left unattended for 17 minutes! Despite switching off Roaming charges and only using data when I have FREE access, I am incurring high data costs. I need help from O2 but they have failed terribly. Any thoughts

What type of message have you sent @Daveyb01 ?
o2 do have social media that you can use:
(Twitter | Instagram | Facebook)
If you are being charged where you shouldn't then o2 will refund you.

Have you turned off both Data Roming AND Mobile Data on your phone?
O2 will only charge when they themselves have been charged by the roaming network.
Where are you, and can you see the charges in My O2

How do you mean free access???
Have you checked one of your apps doesnt have permission to use Mobile Data whilst roaming even if off?
