Solved: Changed number

Hi if you change your 02 number does it become disconnected ? And if someone tried to call the old number does it go voicemail or does it say no longer in service?

It goes out of service until reallocated so would just get a disconnected message.

So if you call the number will

it say you’ve dialled an incorrect number? Or does that mean something different?
