Hello
I moved from giffgaff to o2 on 16/12/2022 and the sim is activated on the same old number on 20/12/2022 since the new o2 sim is activated i can make calls and receive i can access internet i can also send text messages but cannot receive any from normal message or o2 or otp's.
since that day I'm trying to solve this issue with o2 customers or call 202 they just keep going round and round and tech team called but did nothing, i tried the sim on other phone same issue i did a sim swap still cannot receive txt messages.
I also can see that imessage is not asking for network provider pop up and giving me error straight away.
I have work , bank otp , my medical appointments all on these txt messages
please if anyone can help ?

I have the same issue its not just you I ported (transferred) my number around the same time as you. I'm not recieving any OTP'S from whatsapp. I have send a lini to your post to an advisor who is handling my case. In the mean time if you can tweet O2 on twitter they can look into your issue and make a case. Someone from the technical team will look into this for you

This doesn't im afraid I've done all the troubleshooting from looking through O2 forums and whatsapps emails and help pages. Its something the network team need to resolve
