I changed my phone and now can't log into my O2 account through the app.
I contacted customer service on the 26th January and was told they would have me back on line in 3 to 7 days but still not able to get on! I have cleared the cashe, uninstalled and re installed the app but had no luck!

You'll need to persevere with O2, sorry.

Do you still have your old 'phone ? If so, are you still logged into MyO2 thereon ?
