Can't get through

So i now have my number transferred from virgin to o2. Now only certain people can get intouch with me, what has happened? Can it be fixed?

It sounds as if the port isn't completed yet. Keep rebooting your phone

It should have been completed by 6pm, is it normal to take longer?

Not always true to supposed times...so yes it can take longer.
