Hi everyone,I’ve got a new Apple Watch and an iPhone SE (fully updated the phone and watch).I’ve set it up with the phone and go to set up mobile data,first it said 02 Activating for 2 days then after 2 hours waiting to be connected with 02 they cut us off,online chat were useless and after resetting the Watch twice we got a message that 02 were loading the plan but nothing in my 02 account and now the Watch says no connection to server and try again later.I’ve been onto 02 again and they put me through to sales who cut us off.
do we just leave 02 ??

Hi Steve W,yes you have to have a contract with 02,not a payg one or a sim only contract that has run out as that is classed as rolling as that was our problem.
once you have set up a new contract,go to your watch app and set up the Apple Watch 30 day contract for £5 a month and it’s all done.

ps make sure the watch is paired to one phone as well and if you have tried to pair on a different phone you must remove it first.
just to say that 02 were useless helping us as they pushed up from pillar to post,nobody at 02 knew the answer at all,even two phone shops couldn’t help.The answer came from another provider who told us on that network (EE) you need a contract as we tried the watch on ee payg.

I have this exact same issue been trying to activate a plan on apple watch series 8 and like you have rung o2 numerous times and not getting anywhere I am on day 10 now still no luck with this!
