When I call a 00800 number on my iPhone it won’t connect and says call ended

Problem sorted. O2 have added a free bolt on to my account. I can now dial and connect to the 00800 number

@MikeS1 You're entering too many numbers. Only one zero before the 8. 0800

No I’m not entering too many numbers. 00800 is an international freephone number.

@MikeS1 You didn't say you were trying to call an international freephone number. Try using a + instead of 00, or a + and the country code before 800.

@MikeS1 If memory serves me correctly these numbers are only free from landlines. Most mobile networks charge as an international call.I

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
