texts from O2UK with attachments

Hi - had 2 texts from O2UK in the last few days, both with attachments. Haven't opened either.

One was called BF_03_Game_MMS.mp4; the other was DF6016_BF_01_HERO.GIF

anyone else had them, or knows what they are?

Hi @Anonymous I would delete them without opening if honest. I am sure O2 never send texts with attachments. Did the actual text have a message?

Yeah, junk adverts.
One is black Friday
One is local to your area.

All in the same week that news broke about o2 stopping adverts on their network.....
