Thanks everyone. That Talkalot was blinking expensive! I've changed now to 'classic' p&g.

The old tariffs can be poor value now so it pays to keep an eye on any changes for the best deals.

Well if it's just a matter of keeping credit and using as needed then only the Classic probably.

I was also caught out by this text regarding the Talkalot  tariff, I thought if I topped up again I would then get the new allowance from the date of new top up.  My Mobile now has a large amount of credit on it so what will happen on the anniversary date (11th March) ? Will I get a new Free allowance in relation to the amount of Credit on the phone at the time ?

I usually just top up £10 per month & I get 100 Minutes or 100 Text Units and 100MB plus the £10 so if I have £50 of Credit on phone (from Top ups throughout the month)  on 11th March then would I get 500 Minutes or 100 Texts etc etc & the £50.

I also note that my O2 rewards haven't updated for the same "additional" Topups throughout the month, do these only get updated once a month or what ?

Thanks

Your pack renewal will reflect the tariff you are on. If it's a £10 tariff, that is what will renew. You actually have to change it if you want a different tariff.
Rewards info can be found here http://news.o2.co.uk/2013/09/24/save-or-claim-you-decide-with-o2-rewards/

I'm on the "Talkalot" Tariff & mistakenly thought if I Topped up before the "Anniversary" date I would get my "Free Allowance" from the new date......but I understand now that I can only get the allowance from the next anniversary date. My phone now has alot of credit on it.

My question is regarding O2 Rewards, I've looked on the Check balance screen for O2 Rewards & none of the topups I've done within the month since the last anniversary date / before next are shown ?

The "Rewards from 1st Jan" just show the one top up I carried out on last anniversay date.  When do the "Top ups" I've done in the meantime show up ?  (O2 rewards say "All Top ups" not just those on anniversay date)

Thanks,

Paul
