server/network issues

Anonymous
Not applicable

have been having issues with my phone since contacting an O2 guru about contract renewal/deals. new customers can get better deals than 3 year customers and i said i would not be renewing my contract when it expires.

i have been unable to use all the features on my phone including any apps that require a connection to the server (including facebook, emails, sky news and many others). i will be putting a stop on my direct debit to ensure no further money is paid to O2 until full functions have been restored to my phone.

It might be better to ring O2 and check that your services are ok, I find it hard to believe anyone would have done this.

Cancelling your direct debit is not a good idea as they will cancel your contract and bill you for the balance, which if not paid will be sent to a collection agency with damage to your credit rating.

If it has been turned off they can reconnect it and possibly refund you for any service lost.
