I have received a text message with a code stated. The text said that if I did not authorise this then contact O2. Any ideas what it might be about?

Contact O2 immediately to find out. It could be a mistake or it could be someone trying to hack into your account.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
