recieving text messages

is there any news on the horizon about the samsung s20 5g not recieving text messages, i activated my sim 50 hours ago and it is still not working, I cant access the app i use for work instructions or use my online banking, i can see this is a known issue so keeping people updated would be nice for a start, we can all still recieve emails.

@grumpy1kenobi There is a texting issue which O2 is aware of and supposedly working on, but we've had no updates here on any progress.

ok the reason im frustrated is because it is a brand new phone and sim, i can make phone calls and send text messages but when i look into about phone on the settings it says the phone number is unknown and in the connection settings on sim card manager sim also comes up as unknown, i was wondering whether this is the same issue as everyone else is getting or am i going to have to wait for the issue to be fixed then find i have another problem ?

right, my phone has just started recieving text messages, I dont know whether it was a coincidence or not but it happened just after i missed a call, i then had a text saying i missed the call, if anyone else is having the same issues maybe they can try getting someone to ring then leave it,

It was fixed this morning. However, they have been rolling out the fix in stages it seems.
