My bill has been zero for what seems like for years now and suddenly this month there is a £1.80 charge. No calls are made from the phone, just a few incoming text messages and apart from that it's used as an alarm clock on rare occasions.

What tariff are you on?
There was a £1.80 price rise on all tariffs as from the April Bill. Sounds like that has been applied
