phone wont send pictures?

I have Lumia - ever since I first got it on O2, it won't send pictures over messaging... Only on email.
it doesn't tell me that it hasn't sent... It just lets me add pic and recipient then click send. Then it goes and no one ever gets it?!
help.

Your account may not be provisioned for mms a call to customer services could check that for you you can also try texting ACTIVE to 2020 that should give you the settings

Do you have credit if your on payg as mms is not included in your allowances.

Do you have mobile data turned on as mms needs this to function.

There are other avenues of sending picture messages which are cheaper than 02's costs.

BBM/imessage/Viber or whatsapp as examples,

If have some data included in your package then email is vastly better than MMS which is little used now.
