o2 Open discount

Anonymous
Not applicable

I work for Tesco and a few workies have told me that we get an o2 discount. One of them said it was 30% however o2 are saying it's only 15% while other advisors are saying it's 30%.

I can't seem to find anything online that states either one for definite so thought i'd check here slight_smile

You can only have one discount at a time.
Any current discounts will not change until you renew them.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Well my open discount has not changed

It won't until you change contract and reapply it.

thanks for all the quick replies!

it does make o2 less competitive in terms of total monthly price - yes, refresh is a bonus if you change devices more often than the length of your contract (ie, more often than every 2 years) but if like me you keep it for the 2 years then you see no benefit.

I am probably going to stick with o2 when I upgrade in March/April, but will defintely go through a 3rd party (not a "trusted partner"!!) as the deals are often better as a total price paid over the 2 years.

Please note, this is not customer services and we cannot access your account. Do not publish personal details (email, phone number, bank account).

Certainly pleased it wont be a 'trusted partner' @gmarkj. Fear

You do have to look for the deal that suits you best as you say.....

CPW are very competitive if you don't want refresh.
