mobile phone coverage.

Until recently I was able to use my o2 mobile in Woodhall spa, but not now, after checking the coverage via the website, which told me that coverage was good, but alas no signal on my mobile, I find my mobile phone is a lifeline to me when I am out and about, but with no signal in Woodhall spa it hinders me very much. So why doed the o2 website tell me the coverage is good but in practice it is not. What is going on, can anyone give me an aswer please.

3G coverage isn't good in your area try switching the phone to 2G only.

Are you checking what the coverage is or are you checking to see if there is a problem in your area? http://status.o2.co.uk/

Hi,

Typically try ;

Removing your sim and giving it a wipe down.

Double check your APN settings to ensure their still Ok.

http://www.geeksquad.co.uk/articles/chapter/595-04-how-to-set-apn-settings-for-the-02-mobile-network

Phone o2 on 202 - contract 0r 4445 - Payg to make sure your accounts ok.

If theirs a setting in your mobile phone to 'reset network settings' or something similar then do that.

Sometimes a soft reset helps.

These are last resorts !

Most phones you can hard reset but ensure you perform a backup of your data as this typically deletes any saved data.

Just google for how to do this on your make of mobile phone.

I want to know why the coverage in Woodhall Spa for O2 dropped around 3 weeks ago?
Nothing to do with sim, restore etc, it's just dropped.
