Can anyone help as i'm going round in circles via the phone and O2 web page trying to talk to somone about my problem. Few days ago my mobile stopped connecting to land line numbers. It will say numbeer not in use or just seemingly ring the number then disconect but the number does not ring at the other end as i checked with my land line. I need to phone Mum constantly when i'm not with her as she has dementia. I really need this sorted. Any help would be greatly apreciated.

Thanks

@Bea2

Are these numbers in your contacts list, or do you just dial them via keypad?

Have you rebooted the phone? ie turned it off and back on again?

Sorry i was away trying to get though to O2 via my mobile for the 10th time.

Yes they are all in my contacts. I've turned the phone off and on a few times even delted Mum's number and added it. Nothing has worked to date.

Hi Evereyone, I just wanted to come on and give a final update to the problem with not being able to phone Mum and other landlines:

Thanks to O2Lisa and Technition got in touch. He was able to tell me that BT were blocking my number each time i phoned Mum. I got in touch with my brother (as he was the account holder) and he investigated.  Turned out that somehow, despite being blind and having dementia, when Mum lifted the phone to answer my call she accidentally pressed the right combination of keys to block my number. So the problem was quickly sorted in the end. This also sorted my problem with all other landlines too.

Thank you all

Bea
