Received an o2 email as apparently i now need a new sim called e sim so i can use my wifi calling

Foe e sim not recieved any more contact in past hour now my phone sim is disabled

So that's the latest load of rubbish from Customer Services.

There maybe an off-chance you needed a new SIM if your present one is old but not necessarily an eSIM. 

 

 

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

Might also be a scam email so as I advised, it's best to check with O2.

And to confirm, wifi calling works fine on supported devices with a plastic sim @Shim
