Why is it that im being charged to phone o2 to upgrade my phone ??

You didn't cause the confusion and I would expect it to be highly unlikely the OP was calling to upgrade a PAYG phone anyway ?

It is, of course possible but more likely a contract phone surely ?

Haha, yes but we should cover all bases with the statement about charges to call cs... They might've been a payg customer, no harm in mentioning it is there?

To my way of thinking it had to be pay and go. No one would be charged on pay monthly to call customer service. Maybe they wanted to upgrade from payandgo to contract....

Will we ever know,? Doubtful as the OP clearly ain't coming back.
