The only way you can change it is to call customer service and ask them if they can manually change it for you.

Tariff changes do normally take place on the anniversary date but a polite request has been known to be successful.

Hi @Anonymous and Welcome to the forum.

All you need to do is speak to the online Live Chat guys via http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

And they will change your anniversary date.

You will lose any remaining allowances.

When I was on PAYG I did exactly that @jonsie  (In fact for various reasons, I did it three times) Always changed it for me with immediate effect....

I find it helps to speak to someone and I've had occasion to do it twice. Live chat may well be able to help but would I trust them to actually do it....

Not sure I would trust them to do anything at the moment if honest...(If the live chat feedback thread is anything to go by) slight_frown

I personally wouldn't trust Live Chat to make a cuppa let alone sort out account issues.

I would phone every time. Or go into store.

My recent experience of live chat is appalling so I would strongly advise against using them, esp as they could mess up your account completely.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.

Use Live Chat at your own risk. There should be a warning similar to what they have on cigarette packs. "Starting a Live Chat May Seriously Damage Your Account"

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2
