Only customer service can do it for you.

At one time you could do it yourself but it caused so many problems with people changing and direct debits taking on the original date and the new date because any change needs to be done 6 working days before the direct debit is taken. That's the direct debit guarantee as implemented by the banking institutions.  Now, as said, only customer service can do it.

No I must admit I wondered the same. On the one occasion (over the past 4 years) I have changed my payment date ..it had to be done through customer services. I have never been able to do it myself...
