Hi ust wandering if you can change from paying monthly to a pay and go contract?
I'm going away travelling for a year - i'm still in my 2 year contract until next year.
Not sure the best way to approach it etc
thanks

Your best option is to carry on with your contract and utilise TuGo for your allowances (wifi only) or if in Europe use O2 Travel.

You would need a payg sim as they hold different info to contract ones. Any O2 shop have them and can transfer your number to the SIM card.
You do have alternatives such as the travel option or use Tugo on wifi.

Or let a family member or someone trusted to use the SIM card and change the payments to their bank account. Be aware you will still be accountable for the account and payments.

I have an unlocked phone and use it with a local simcard in Thailand for around 6 months of the year. I have TuGo installed so I'm able to use my allowances over wifi and get all messages and calls as normal whisy also getting the benefits of a local simcard.
