cancelling contract

My 2 year contract is coming to an end. Unfortunately the upgrade deals I was offered weren't competitive enough so I am looking at alternative options. Do I need to cancel the contract with you on the 2 year anniversary or will it stop automatically?

Your contract carries on month to month so give 30 days notice to end your contract by calling 202 or using a PAC will end it automatically.

Are you wanting to keep your number to move to another network. If so ask for a PAC code.

If not then ring O2 on 202 and give 30 days notice.

PAC code route which you obtain by ringing O2 on 202 and use within 28 days by giving it to your new network.

Just cancelling and not keeping your mobile number route.

If You want to get a better deal and stay in O2 try the independents but they cannot offer the refresh deal or ask to speak to O2 customer retentions to see if they can offer an incentive to stay.

The exact process varies depending if you want to keep your number or not.

If you're looking to move to another network, make sure you'll get a good signal where you spend the most time, i.e. where you live and work. Trusting online network coverage checkers isn't a great idea. They're only a general estimate. If you've found a network that you think has a good deal for you, get a Pay & Go sim first and check the signal. Getting a good deal is a pointless exercise if your signal isn't strong enough.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

In May of this year my contract ran out. I told them I would go back on contract when the IPhone 6 came out and they had from then until now to win my loyalty back. No one has contact me yet so will be shopping for a new provider at the weekend

They wouldn't contact you.

You will have auto dropped to a rolling 30 day rolling contract.

Its up to you to contact O2 on 202 or use your myo2 to move back onto a full Contract if your sim only and upgrade.

Or use a PAC code from O2 to move your number to a new provider.

When the new provider uses the PAC code this ends your O2 contract and they send you a final bill.

Help link for PAC code http://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Discussions-Feedback/Obtaining-a-PAC-Code-from-the-O2-Network/m-p/54427...

or end your contract by ringing them on 202 and give 30 days notice.

The iphone 6 will be over subscribed. If you want one it is up to you to source whether that be from O2 or elsewhere.

I expect they'll be a bit busy to contact individuals at the moment.... Same as all the networks wink
