cancelling contract

My 2 year contract is coming to an end. Unfortunately the upgrade deals I was offered weren't competitive enough so I am looking at alternative options. Do I need to cancel the contract with you on the 2 year anniversary or will it stop automatically?

My 2 year contract finishes on Sunday 21st Sept 2014.Was prepared to do as usual the upgrade to iPhone 6 Plus as I have done in previous years from iPhone 3 to 4 and then 4 to 5.Having looked at the options available this time,O2 are seriously taking the rise with pricing this time.Is it possible to change from my current active contract on the 21st to a Pay-As-You-Go tariff until such time I deem it appropriate to suss out the iPhone 6 Pay-As-You-Go,retaining my same phone number ?

Was about to ask if those new details on the supplied new P & G sim would be ok to use if I purchased the iPhone 6 Plus, but it's a different sim size from the iPhone 5 I believe,is that correct ?

Yes it is but you can still transfer the details and number to a nano sim.

Sound as.I think I will do that as I don't think the P & G option on iPhone 6 Plus will be available to activate and use for at least 3 to 4 weeks according availability of handset.Thank you for your assistance, appreciate it.

Have just ordered over the phone a Big Bundle sim for iPhone 5 suitable for my needs ie £10 per month. How can I guarantee that my 2 year contract that ends on the 21st will actually end (ie terminate) and O2 will not take out any more money for that contract.
