Resolved! Blocking telephone use overseas for children

My daughter has an iPhone on pay monthly. She is going overseas and I want to disable it for both data and calls (she can use it as an iPod). I can switch off data roaming but how can I switch off the calling? There seems to be nothing on the o2 site...

Are there any special iPhone tariffs I should be looking at for PAYG. All I can find is the go go go tariff and that offers next to no data. Any ideas?

Just need to find out what happens if you make a payment for your bill before it is meant to come out of hyour bank! will it still be taken out on a direct debt even though it has already been payed, by another way?!!!
