I have had no bars on your phone and been unable to receive calls for FOUR months now. And as I am currently job hunting, I need my phone to work so I can make calls. I have even had an agency email me saying that they tried to ring me on several occasions. Plus my girlfriend has given up trying to call me on it!!!

So, what should I do?

Should I

a) Cancel my contract and join a different tariff? I'm halfway through my 24 month contract right now. Or......

b) Wait and wait and wait for O2 to finally fix the problem and compensate me, like they promised, although I'm guessing they might compensate me with a free £5 offer or something silly like that

@Courts9469 This is not O2. This is a customer community. All numbers for customer service are here: Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support

If you need telephone access you can use Skype for incoming and outgoing calls over WiFi.

Have you checked https://status.o2.co.uk for issues in your area

Does your handset support Wifi Calling: https://www.o2.co.uk/connectivity/wifi-and-4g-calling

Which can help where signal is an issue

If you cancel your contract you will (depending on if you have refresh or not) pay off your handset and then you are free to leave.
If you dont have refresh you will be charged a termination fee.
