Won’t let me cancel contract that has ended as nobody will answer the phone

How can I contact O2 to cancel my contract as I did this this morning went through everything with a lady on the phone she then told me she couldn’t cancel it have to put me to another department and phone just rang out nobody ever answered I can’t find an email address to cancel my contract, I feel like they’re just messing me about just so I carry on with them can anybody tell me an email address so I can email them and put in writing I would like my contract ending
