I ordered new phone and my tracking number came through which showed UKMail were delivering it. I have had dealing with this company before and they are the WORST in the UK.
Why would O2 use the worst company in the UK to deliver phones.
Phone was meant to arrive on Friday between 2pm and 6pm so I waited. It never came and phoned UKMail who stated that driver was on his way. Phoned again at 6:30 pm told she had spoken to delivery driver and he was 15 mins away. He never came.
Phoned this morning and was told will get phone next week if they can, they were very rude and abrupt.
Contaced O2 who said they would get it priority but that does not fill me with confidence when you check this link.
Why would O2 allow such a terrible lot to deliver their products, honestly thinking about canceling contract since its up anyway.
Also going to send letter to BBC watchdog programm maybe get O2 to answer why they still use them.
Solved! Go to Solution.

You'll be hard pressed to find a delivery company that doesn't have complaints especially when complainants tend to be more vocal than satisfied customers.
I personally have never had an issue with a UKmail delivery as yet. Which is more than I can say for UPS who recently tried to deliver a £2300 iMac to the wrong street, and DPD who posted a parcel through the wrong letterbox and when I changed the delivery date on their website for another parcel and they confirmed this by email still attempted to deliver on the original day when I wasn't in and left the parcels with neighbours (not all of whom we get on with)

In Fact did a search on O2 forums came up with these:
http://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Pay-Monthly-and-Pay-Go/problem-with-delivery/m-p/417568#M40298
Inside each post are many other O2 customers that complain about this company some actualty that used to their phones being stolen by UKMail.
So when O2 states they care about customers then why use UKMail?

There are many thousands of phones going out successfully and being delivered with no problem.
Why do you assume that you know better than anyone else which delivery company they should use?
I've never had a failed delivery so cannot join your "boycott club".
Do you really believe that the BBC would be in the slightest bit interested?
We're getting near Christmas and the delivery firms are busy, good grief!!!

Funny we were having this discussion today. You can now add City Link to the list of companies who have tried to deliver to the wrong address!

I've never had a problem with UK Mail and I think DPD are excellent. Yodel / Home Delivery Network are another matter. I try not to use companies who use them for deliveries.

Yodel must be the worst ever. UPS and DPD forever and never had any problems with UK Mail myself to be fair
