Why are great O2 offers on comparison websites difficult to take up?

I found 2 great sim only deals on various comparison sites (£8/m 20Gb data and £10/m 30Gb data) when I tried to sign up for them it was nigh on impossible, either the shop page was impossible to get to or the web page failed to load.

Turned off my VPN, went to the same offers on 3 different comparison sites, tried 3 different browsers, no luck.

The furthest I got was saving the offer to my O2 basket, when I signed back in later to purchase the deal my basket was empty, the offers are still showing on the comparison sites.

Anyone else had this experience?

Because the offers are from third parties you cannot save them to your basket unless you purchase the offer immediately after saving

I had the same issue until I took the offer up straight after saving

Once you leave the O2 website the basket empties automatically

@CarlN2010

I would speak to the comparison sites, as it sounds like the links don't as they, they also have time limits on the tracking urls (basically so the site can track your purchase).
