Most likely never as you will never get 100% coverage anywhere. It's stated in the t&c

O2's obligation is only 98 % of populated areas as per the ofcom sale full technecial details here http://stakeholders.ofcom.org.uk/binaries/consultations/award-800mhz/statement/4GCov-verification.pd...

P.s. until volte is adopted you will always need a fallback to 3g / 2G

Mobile phone service is not an exact science. No network will ever offer 100% LTE. You could be getting full LTE, take two steps to your left and only get 2G. Anyone looking for 100% LTE all the time is living in a fantasy world.

I am not talking about 100% coverage with respect to land and/or population. I am talking about being able to solely use LTE in all places that O2 provides any mobile coverage without running into a major problem like cannot make calls.

100% LTE does happen in South Korea where LG U+ which is a CDMA carrier offering phones of their variant without CDMA support.

The only problem is time.

This is Britain we are talking about. If South Korea has it. Doesn't necessarily mean Britain or any other country will get it

Read your Terms & Conditions. When I say no network, I'm referring to networks in the UK. In case you weren't aware, we're not in South Korea. If things are so much better there, go there.

Again, I am talking about when will O2 finish its coverage obligation and support VoLTE in which there is no need to fall back on 3G in those areas.

I am not talking about any current coverage.
