I'll bet the Ofcom phone lines were inundated as soon as they aired their phone number. Loved watching the Ofcom guy squirm, but sadly, nothing will change for a long time to come if ever. I'm fortunate that I can buy my phone sim free and just have a monthly sim only contract. There are many others who aren't that lucky, and have to lock into long contracts to get the phone subsidy. The odds are with the house yet again.
