I ordered a new pay monthy O2 sim card and I want to keep my old number, which was also a pay monthly O2 sim card. Could you please explain the full process, thank you.

@Ed27 You need to do a sim swap: SIM Swap: a mini guide (incl eSim) - O2 Community

Just make sure you're not paying for two contracts.

You need to request a number migration as in the guide posted by @Enlli

@Do not do a sim swap if your new sim has a different tariff as that will just put your old tariff on the new sim.
