Upgraded to oppo 5g

Hi. I've upgraded to 5g. With the phone is a new SIM. Do I need to place that in or use my old existing SIM. If I have to put the new one in, will it have a new number as I want to keep my number as it is. Thanks

The new sim is blank until you activate it. Text SWAP to 20220 from your current sim and follow instructions. Once done it will move your current number from your old sim to the new one.

Added to the info above by @bigdavie88 , please remember the phone will only work if you are in a 5G area. Otherwise it will just show 4G.
