Upgraded early - Do I still pay old airtime bill?

I’ve just ordered a new phone after paying off my device plan. My bill would’ve been due to go out on the 29th - will I still pay the old airtime bill on the 29th or will my next payment be 14 days after the start of my new contract? Basically when will be the next time o2 take money off me?

You will pay a proportion of your airtime. Your bill is paid 2 weeks after it's produced so your first one may be a little higher. 

Edited to add, your payment date remains the same with an upgrade.

You will make a payment on the 29th, with some pro rata payment from your old contract. The following month on the 29th you should see your new payment. It could take two months to settle to the new amount, dependent on contract changes.

Payment will always be on the 29th.
