Hi,

 

I am doing an O2 Refresh trade in with my old Galaxy S8,  I wondered when I take it to the O2 shop whay i need to bring? (charger, headphones etc.) or just the actual phone.

And some ID  and proof of your address obviously @Sim79. They need to see the phone belongs to you as you could have just picked it up off the street....:smileywink:

They’ve never asked me for ID usually was just the password to my account

I suspect it's down to the individual store @Anonymous. I have been asked for ID twice at mine.

That’s very true @Cleoriff mind you it might also be down to the fact that I know a couple of the staff at my local store & they deal with me when I upgrade

They text your phone with a code to prove it's your phone so make sure your phone is still active when you first go into the store.
You can remove your sim and factory reset the phone once your identity has been verified.
