Upgrade to 5C

Hi,
Can anyone help- have just got upgrade from 4s to 5c with a new tariff applied. I am planning in using the new handset 5C to give to my husband for a Xmas gift and keep my 4s for eh time being.
So my question is- as the SIM cards are different will I be able to request a different sim to work with the new tariff on my existing 4s?

Any thoughts really appreciated!

Thanks

The tariff change will now be on your existing sim.

So no action needed

Just put what ever o2 nano sim in the 5c you want after using the swapmysim service to move your husbands account / payg on to it.

iPhone 11 Pro 256gb on unlimited data
iPad Pro 12.9” 2020 256gb refresh o2 family discount
Apple Watch series 4
My first mobile was in 1995 a CM-R111 from sony on Cellnet.

Thanks Adam- I am a bit slow on all matters mildly technical so excuse my stupidity!
So does my husband have to have an 02 account?
So the sim in my 4s will work on my 4s and the tariff would change automatically or would I need to request new sim with new tariff to work in my 4s.
Could my husband just request a nano from his provider (orange).

Much appreciated!!

In support of Adam's posts, the 5c will be locked to O2 so an Orange sim won't work.
You can request an unlock for the 5c but I'm nit sure O2 are allowing them to be unlocked just yet. Unlock Form

Your current sim card will retain your contract so you can keep using it in the 4s.
