Can anyone tell me why someone upgrading to a new mobile dont seem to get the same tarriff options that a new customer can?

I am currently on a 5GB tarriff and looking at the possibility to upgrade from a Samsung Galaxy S10 to the Galaxy S21 Ultra.

If you look as a new customer you can customise the tarriff to start at anywhere from 2GB upwards but from the Upgrade option in the account it wont let you customise it anywhere below 15GB tarriff?

Call 202 and choose upgrades.

They can sort the tariff you want directly.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

I would rather do it all online than messing about on the phone to arrange it.

All it means is if they cant put the same offers online that are available then I just wont bother with the upgrade until they give a better offer.

I am happy with the S10 was just considering upgrading if could do it easily

The offers should all be the same for everyone, hence suggesting you call as something is not set up correctly it would seem.
