Maybe it's my poor memory but last year I took advantage of the o2 refresh tariff to upgrade after 12 months and paying off the remaining device plan by handing back my note8 so I could upgrade to the note9.

This year I'm looking to do the same but when I view upgrade options and go through the checkout etc there's no mention anywhere of the opportunity to hand my device back?

I can't remember if I had to do it instore last year so maybe I do?

Hi @ChrisH

This tells you about using your device to put toward the cost of a new one...

You can trade in your phone at any time and put the cash towards paying off your Device Plan. Leaving you free to upgrade to the latest device, with nothing to pay upfront. Find out more.

hiya, can't see any mention of handing the device back to recoup the remaining device plan like I did last year?

@ChrisH

O2 have stopped the upgrade on us offer since they introduced the up to 3 year flex tariffs.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
