I'm currently feeling thwarted by the various options provided by 02 to do a simple upgrade.
Contacted chat and had a strange exchange with their agent. Went on for a long time; passed on to different departments. He just kept asking what organisations I belonged to! Today I resorted to an 02 outlet and shocked to meet the most condescending and arrogant "salesman" in a long time. I'm 58, a retired teacher and a customer of 02 for 25 years I also have 3 contracts with them for my children. The irony is if I just pretend I am a new customer I'm offered the best deals!

Call 202 and choose the option "I'm thinking of leaving"
If there are any deals to be had, they will have them, but otherwise, everyone gets the same deal.
They were asking about your job or organisations in case you are eligible for a discount.

There is no loyalty entitlement anymore. They stopped that when they introduced O2 Refresh

I would never use live chat to upgrade. It's always best to call 202 and speak to someone whether that be customer service or retentions.
